What I Like About This: There is a great deal of mystery in this painting... That is one of the qualities that I find most intriguing and appealing about a work of art.  This work and the ambiguity of the subject leads one to wonder and ask many questions that only the imagination can answer: Is this a self-portrait?  Is the subject looking at his own reflection in a mirror? Or, are these two lovers embraced in a moment of passion?  Looking at this painting begs the question, What is the story of this piece? Such wonderful ambiguities are to my mind a joy to consider and make reflecting upon the work of this Polish artist a great joy.
