The Passion Of The Christ

Here the Passion of the Christ is re-imagined in the art of Douglas Blanchard.  He depicts Christ as a contemporary young gay man, and in so doing, asks the question, "What If Jesus Were Gay?"

  1. Significantly, I think Doug Blanchard's message is this, "Would we today treat Jesus just as those in the scriptures did?" And moreover, "Isn't this how we've treated our gay brothers and sister, despite Jesus' admonition to "love thy neighbor..."
