What I Like About This: Here is a masterwork of the American artist, John Koch (1909 - 1978) whose talents need no description. A master of hyper-realism and figurative works, this painting from 1958 features as its subject a recurring theme in his oeuvre, household chores and activities. In the same genre, another of my favorite painting of his from some 20 years later: "The Window Washers."
