Last year, Husband and I went "Up North" to walk across the "Mighty Mac" (the bridge that spans the Straits of Mackinaw connecting the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan).  We spent the night before at a hotel about 45 minutes south of the bridge in the ironically named town of "Gaylord, Michigan."
