So, as you can see, with some notable exceptions, this blog has at some point been visited by someone from almost every inhabited place in the world... In fact, more than half of the visitors to "The Unbearable Truth..." come from overseas.
Still waiting on visits from:
Aland Island, Antarctica, Bouvet Island, Central African Republic, Chad, Christmas Island,Cocos Islands, Comoros, Eritrea, Falkland Islands, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Heard Island and Mcdonald Islands, Kiribati, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Mayotte, Montserrat, Nauru, Niger, Niue, Norfolk Island, Pitcairn, Saint Barthelemy, Saint Helena, Saint Martin, San Marino, Sao Tome and Principe, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Georgia and The South Sandwich Islands, Svalbard and Jan Mayen, Tokelau, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, Wallis and Futuna, Western Sahara.
These are mostly small islands and impoverished (and sometimes war torn) nations which
are still without widespread access to the World Wide Web.
This broad spectrum of visitors from the far-flung corners of the globe proves my point, that we (GLBT people) are all a part of the family of man... We are found in every culture and in every nation on the Earth. This makes it clear to me that same gender loving people are a normal part of the diversity of mankind.
We are all in the family of man.
And now, since you've read this far...
I've updated the list of countries that have yet to visit. There is also a neat link above that will show you statistics on the 184 countries that have visited since April 2010.

ReplyDeleteSometime yesterday (October 26, 2014) the 500,000th page view of "The Unbearable Truth Fear Eats the Soul" occured... I remember wondering when I started this blog if anyone (especially he who I did it for) would ever see it. I and this blog have been witnesses to great change in my life and the world.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, it's been a while since I updated this... as of today, nearly 1 1/2 million page views and more than 500,000 unique visitors... It's likely more that this but in the age of privacy, many visits can't be captured, but I am glad that folks like what they find here.
ReplyDeleteWow... it's 2024 and I'm still posting and folks are still visiting. This year, the 2 millionth page view will be recorded, although the views are probably a multiple of that in reality. It's been great therapy over the years and I'm glad folks still like it.
