In what now seems like a lifetime ago, when I was with Sears I used to listen to this song 3 or 4 times a day, 5 days a week. This was the on hold music the credit call center used. It was never a good sign when you were placed on hold... 9 out of 10 times the agent would come back on the line and say, "I'm sorry, we don't any options for your customer."

Husband and I are going to early voting this afternoon. I can assure the team at Fox News, we are still very much alive...

A funny thing happened in the park today. . .

This could be me on any given day...

But especially yesterday, after a powerful storm came through Metro Detroit and left us one of nearly 400,000 without grid power. We're not in the dark though; I believe in being prepared... The generator has been not so silently humming away since last night. Detroit Edison is saying that we can expect power restoration on Sunday night around 11:30 pm.

About once a year Husband will tell me he wants to go there which completely freaks me out; but after 15 years, I've learned to eat before we go so I don't get hangry
