What I Like About This: Here is just a tasteful painting of a male nude, well executed and pleasing to the eyes. This is art for the sake of the appreciation of male pulchritude. For her subject, the artist has chosen to depict an everyday man... He's not some ridiculously perfect specimen of maleness. He's not being offered up as a steroidal, rippling hyper-example of the masculine physique, but as just a normal man. This quality of capturing the essence of what the common man looks like is one of the reasons that I truly admire the works of many female artists.
