What I Like About This: This lovely studio photograph from around 1910 captures their intended image of the love these two men shared for each other. That they are much more than "mere friends" is easily deduced by a cursory examination of the scene. The look of love is evident in both their eyes... Their matching rings worn on opposite hands suggests they were committed to one another. And of course the caption sign they chose for their portrait, "Me for You" is an unmistakable declaration of love. All of this taken together serves to reminds us that "we were always there."
