Goh Mishima
What I Like About This: Here is a work by the late Japanese artist Goh Mishima, a pioneer of post-war homoerotic art in his home country. Often referred to as "Yakuza porn," because his subjects feature tattoos popular with members of the Japanese mafia, Mishima's works are more art than pornography, featuring strong emotive character and a distinctive eastern attitude and perspective.
