What I Like About This: A figurative painting of a modern-day scene featuring a couple in their stylish home. The soft muted colors and the strong brush work lend interest to the subjects as does the juxtaposition of their attire... while one wears little at all, the other figure is fully clothed and wearing a lambs wool jacket...yet from the window in the background we can note lots of greenery suggesting summer and this contradiction provokes wonderment in observing this painting.
