What I Like About This: Here is an interesting monochromatic work that takes full advantage of the interplay of light and shadows. I like the texture and crosshatch of the pencil work and the exaggerated perspective of the doors which the artist has used to frame the subject. Moreover, I like that due to the monochromatic theme and the obscurity of detail, the model is an ambiguous figure leaving the imagination to fill in the details of his situation.
