What I Like About This: It's hard for me to say exactly what it is that I find so appealing about this work. The bold brush strokes and muted coloring is certainly interesting. But, I think it's the thoughts that the work provokes that brought it to my attention. The artist aptly titled it "Struggle" and that is what it reminds me of, the many times (including right now) that I've felt I was literally and figuratively "up against the wall."
