"We Were Always There..."

What I Like About This: Here is an arcade photo, circa WWII of two U.S. Navy Sailors. Moreover, when I look at this photograph, I see at least 1 gay man., perhaps you see it too? Today we call it "Gaydar," the ability to perceive a person's sexual orientation merely by appearances... Who these two young men were we will never know. We cannot know if what I see was true for one or both of them, but what we can know is that they felt enough affection for each other to record a moment in their lives together. And we can also know that whether or not these men were same gender loving, "we were always there."
