What I Love About This: In much the same way as yesterday's post, here is another excellent example of the depiction of the "everyday man" which is perhaps even rarer because the subject is a man of color.  The artist here has done something quite remarkable in capturing so many details of this handsome man, from his brushed waves hair to the wrinkles in his pursed lips and the unusual folds in his ears. Absolutely a masterwork of portraiture in every sense of the word.
