What I Like About This: An "art photograph" circa 1920s featuring two nude models purporting to be merely an artistic study of the human form... Yet, even as we do today, in its own day, this photo would have been recognized and appreciated more as a homoerotic image than as a mere work of photographic art. Although more explicit gay pornography existed at the time (especially in Europe), this American example would have been hidden away and privately enjoyed by its owner concealing a secret truth that "we were always there."
