I'm a Canadian living in Montreal and our police here is always trying to be close to any citizens no matter race, sex or religious beliefs. We have as many other places racial issues mainly with black and latinos etc... But in Montreal and many other cities in Canada the policemen are educated to be aware of racial differences as the same for LGBTQ people. The husband of my ex BF is a retired Montreal policeman and did put in place the «Gay Police Association» of Montreal.
