I was laying on my couch last night and decided to smoke a lil’ weed (not something I do often), and here’s a fun little doomsday scenario I came up with before passing out:
So, Milo Yiannopoulos is a controversial Breitbart editor that’s been touring college campuses as a guest speaker. Lately, alleged violent “liberal” protestors have been shutting down Yiannopoulos’s events with destructive protests. Just last night the alt-right poster boy and his team had to be escorted to safety and away from the campus of UC Berkeley.
Normally, I would dismiss what I’m about to say as paranoid conspiracy theory, but these aren’t normal times and therefore who the hell knows at this point? It’s pretty obvious Trump and his advisors have authoritarian ambitions. Steve Bannon is one of those advisors. Bannon is also Yiaonnaulos’ former boss from Breitbart. Would it be too far-fetched to suspect Bannon has been coordinating with Yiannopoulos in order to provoke these violent “liberal” protests? What if these violent protests are, in fact, being organized by Bannon and Yiannopoulos themselves? The violent agitators are often masked, come out of nowhere, and they often manage to escape detention while concealing their identity. It’s no secret Bannon wishes to bring everything crashing down, whatever that means.
Think about it: Trump has flirted with the idea to send in the Feds to places like Chicago if they can’t get crime under control. This would mean martial law – an illegal occupation by the federal government. And it does seem as if the Trump administration has been deliberately antagonizing the public with controversial executive orders in order to ramp up protests across the country and increase the likelihood of violent protests to create the illusion of widespread chaos.
Trump blindly worships anything having to do with law enforcement. After all, he deemed himself the “law and order” candidate during the campaign. One of Trump’s executive orders might try to militarize local police departments and use the Justice Department to ensure the police have more than what they need to bring law and order to areas where citizens are protesting, peaceful or otherwise. He will especially target groups like Black Lives Matter, possibly even labeling them a terrorist organization (let’s remember Guantanamo Bay is still operating) and maybe ordering the Justice Department to turn a blind eye while police departments subdue protests by any means necessary. Crime data pertaining to race, arrests and convictions will be concealed or tossed out entirely, making it largely inaccessible to the public in a manner similar to that of climate change data.
The Trump administration has been doing a good job appearing completely incompetent and inept at governing perhaps in order to foster doubt about its inability to orchestrate such a far-fetched idea. However, it does seem that each executive order is done with surgical precision in order to bring about the greatest and most extreme reactions possible from the left. Though, he’s really not doing anything that he didn’t promise he would do during his campaign.
If enough chaos can be created, Republicans might be inclined to supply whatever means Trump asks to bring about “law and order” in the United States, with a Congress willing to pass laws that infringe on our civil liberties in the name of national security—laws that will then be turned against us and used to (now legally) silence descent.
But Americans are used to freedom. We probably won’t stand for it and will continue to protest. Protests, especially violent ones, will erupt more frequently across the United States. America’s institutions will continue to erode and Trump’s lies of a nation in chaos will ring true.
America will erupt in total “war” with itself while at the same time withdrawing in isolation from the rest of the world, and while we are too busy fighting amongst ourselves, Russia and China will be gobbling up the vacuum created by the withdrawal of American influence. We’ll be too embroiled in domestic matters to care anything about NATO or the EU. This will be Putin’s golden opportunity to begin spreading Russia’s influence in Europe and reclaim the glory of the Soviet Union, and it will be China’s opportunity to claim entirely the South China Sea.
Trump though, unbroken and unbowed, will declare war against China. Bannon is already on record as saying that war in the South China Sea is inevitable. The United States, in its fractured state, will go to war with China, and Russia will ally with China. This is when shit gets nuclear. Russia and China, fed up with decades of American global dominance, will attempt to nuke the United States off the face of the Earth. The United States isn’t without its own nuclear arsenal, however, and the Earth will burn as nuclear detonations cover her surface. It’s because of situations like these why we never find life anywhere else in the universe – it always implodes. Man, that was some good weed…
