"I Wrote This For You..."

Once upon a time, not so long ago, I lived in fear of the Lover's Moon. At first, it was my reminder each month that I had made a terrible choice - to live alone in a silent lie to myself and in betrayal of my very own heart. 
Later, when I had accepted the truth of my heart, the Lover's Moon became the symbol and the sentinel of love's promise - the great redeemer of my lost soul. 

Tonight, the Lover's Moon shines upon "The Anniversary That Never Was" to remind me of all the things that were a part of our love affair that never ended... the happy, the sad, the lonely and the glad. Tonight the Lover's Moon shines its light upon that place in my heart where he still lives, even as it casts shadows on that part still missing which is with him...
