"The Truth Is Still Sometimes Shocking..."

PASTOR ARRESTED FOR IMPERSONATING COP DURING HOOK-UP ROBBERY OF GAY MAN

I'm still shaking my head over this... There's got to be a lot more to this story than meets the eyes.  But my first thought about this is that this guy is a self-loathing closeted homosexual who targeted gay men in a vain attempt to exercise his own religion inspired demons.  The more I see and hear about religion, the less I believe it can in any way be a force for good.

This story also illustrates why "the closet" is such a dangerous place to live... It makes things like hooking up with anonymous people this way seem like the only way for someone in the closet to express one's hidden sexuality.  This story could have been much worse, we've seen and heard all the nightmare outcomes of this type of thing...  Thankfully, this story ended without anyone being killed or worse.

The truth is always stranger than fiction.
