I was reminded of this song from the tumultuous '70s by its inclusion in Lee Daniels' critically acclaimed film "The Butler." It really was a different time back then.
If you haven't seen "The Butler," I highly recommend it... Lee Daniels uses this feel good song to set up a very powerful anti-climax in the film. You'll love the scene with Oprah Winfrey dancing to this song in a mod synthetic jumpsuit.
