It's not so much that the machines are learning themselves, it's that we're giving them better prompts. It's pretty clear to me that some of the most impressive images created by AI are because of prompts from real artists who can accurately describe the components of the image to be created.  A new discipline has arisen called "Prompt Engineering," and these are experts like our artists who are inspiring these works.

* If you look carefully, you can always find the telltale clues that it's AI. In the image above the hallmark of AI is the missing index finger on that hand resting on his partners shoulder. The AI also had problems with that tree in front of the house too.
