What I Like About This: Here is a near abstract work by the prolific gay erotic artist Douglas Simonson whose mastery of color, shape and form have earned him a worldwide audience of admirers and collectors. His subjects here are two men in a passionate embrace. Simonson's prefered models are typically men of color of various ethnicities and although some have criticized his works as fetishizing these men, I have always found them to be a welcome representation of men who are not often seen in art erotic or otherwise.
