Ink on paper
Edward E. Cummings
What I Like About This: This is a work by my husband who is a very talented artist. He attended CCS here in Detroit after high school, but later settled on a career in landscape artistry. This is a recent piece he's been working on. The method is ink dots, the entire image is made up of tiny precisely placed dots of ink, the result of which is that the further you are from the work, the more smooth the image appears, but when you observe it from close up, you see a sort of pixelation that is intriguing in and of itself.
