* This is the only commemoration of the 18th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks that I'll be sharing... In my mind this will always be a dark day for many reason... not only that 3000 Americans perished on that fateful day, but also because it ushered in an era of fear, distrust and evil in our nation that is culminated in the presidency of DJT. In our zeal for vengence and retribution, we as a nation have killed hundreds of thousands while displacing and destabilising an entire region of the world and millions of its citizens. 9/11 reminds me that I am often not proud of my country anymore.
