‘Blue’s Clues’ Actors Fall In Love On The Road

Actors Tom Mizer and Travis McGhie owe their relationship happiness to a big blue dog.

Mizer was playing the role of “Steve” in the “Blue’s Clues Live!” national tour (a live production based on the Nickelodeon TV show) when McGhie joined the production as Mizer’s understudy, the couple told The New York Times Saturday.

“I remember showing up to that rehearsal and he just had daggers in his eyes for me. Daggers,” McGhie joked. “But I was like, hmm, there’s something about this guy.”

A romance eventually blossomed, and the two are now planning their wedding.

“We always have this thing that we can laugh about together. How funny that the two Steves were getting together on the road.” Mizer said.

Thomas and Travis were married in Brooklyn later that year.
