It’s Batman and his cute little Robin Redvest again. Such an odd coupling for a super hero and his sidekick, when you think about it. One wonders what was going through the mind of the creator when he came up with the idea – pairing some big bulging hulk of a man with a partner who could be defined as his physical polar opposite, in that he had the look and slight frame of a teen-aged boy barely on the cusp of manhood. It just beggars belief that the homoerotic implications of such a pairing never entered the head of the man who created these two characters. It’s little wonder they’re often transmogrified in gay erotica and pornographic movies as the quintessential “Daddy and his Twink”.
