"The Poet's Corner..."

How I wish

That we could last like this

A lifetime

Hands held tight

You by my side

Fingers intertwined

Forehead kisses

Late night calls

Hearing the sound of your voice

And I can define it as living

Knowing that this is the way

I wanted it to be

That everything went well

The way it’s supposed to be

I’m falling, hard

Unexpectedly

And now, here I am

Wanting everything to last

A lifetime

I should probably be scared

Knowing that I’m asking for

Something I shouldn’t dare ask

Because sometimes

We ask for the things that we

Can’t actually have

But everything about you

Makes me want to take the risks

So yeah, it’s a bit of whirlwind

And a little too tangled

No. No.

You’re not a part of my maybes

Not a part of my pretty pleases

But rather a part of the things

That makes me say, how I wish
