A Russian TV station has fallen for a satirical video of an 11-year-old’s parents putting gay porn on his wall.
This satirized video was presented as fact on Russian television
The clip above was reported as fact by Rossiya-1 last week – who cited it as “proof” of the degradation of Western society.
The news host ranted: “The erosion of morals born overseas, the dissolution of marriage—Europe submissively follows in the footsteps of the US.
“Is this really what childhood should look like?”
The only problem is it is an obvious fake, using footage from video made by vinyl stickers company Fathead – in which a vinyl sticker of a monster truck is put on the wall.

The presenters seemed completely unaware of the nature of the spoof clip, and spent several minutes talking about “gender fascism” in the West.
Blogger Julia Davis said: “Blatant fabrications by the Russian media have become so commonplace that they no longer shock seasoned observers.
“In light of Putin’s crackdown on Internet and rapidly dwindling freedom of the press, Russian audiences have very limited opportunities for learning the truth.”

On first blush this seems pretty funny, but it's really not... Stupidity like this, in the hands of those who spread hate and fear for their own evil purposes (read: Putin & Co.) only serves to make their case to a people kept in ignorance and blinded to the truth.
