"It's Not So Funny..."

Just to be clear, THIS IS SATIRE

While the irony of what they're illustrating is not lost on me, I don't think it's a joking matter when some people still mistakenly cling to a belief that it's actually possible to change one's sexual orientation.  I think some people seeing this satirical send up of so-called "ex-gays" might believe this is real.  Untold numbers of young people still suffer at the hands of charlatans and predators who convince their parents that they can wrought the change in their childrens sexual orientation that their parents want.

Ex-gay therapy is hate-filled quackery, it doesn't work, it's harmful and it's dangerous.
