Although Sunday was "World AIDS Day," this year I let it pass by without much recognition. Not because its not still important or important to me, but because it should be an everyday recognition of the fact that the crisis is not over (especially for people of color and that we need to redouble our efforts to stop the spread of the disease and the conditions in our lives that allow it to destroy us. Later today, read an article from the N.Y. Times on the truth about HIV/AIDS when you're black and gay.
