Rhode Island, "The Ocean State" is now the nation's 10th marriage equality state and the final New England state to approve marriage for same-sex couples. This evening Governor Lincoln Chafee signed into law the bill bringing marriage equality to thousands of GLBT couples in the state. The law will come into effect on August 1, 2013.
And now there are 10!
Marriage equality is now the law in 20% of the states...
