Congratulations France!
Yesterday, despite violent protests from anti-gay right wing protesters, French President Francois Hollande signed a bill into law making France the 14th country to enact marriage equality following the approval of the bill by France's Constitutional Council on Friday.
In signing the bill, Hollande said, “I will ensure that the law applies across the whole territory, in full, and I will not accept any disruption of these marriages.”
