"I Am Always Remembering..."
It was the early days of our love affair, a Saturday morning. We had made love in the night, but he was selfish and cruel to me afterwards. I turned my back to him as he stirred from his slumber, but he insisted on petting and kissing me, telling me, "You can't withhold your affection from me..." Because I loved him so, I realized he was right, and I relented.
I still love him today, just as I did on that Saturday morning so many many years ago. I remembered and thought of that moment many times yesterday and again this morning, I'm not sure why... But I also remembered he was right... Nothing would ever be the same after loving him.
