"The Poet's Corner..."

The wind outside is a low, distant moan,
A world of white and frost-bound stone.
But here, the fire's embrace is deep,
While secrets that the embers keep,
Ignite a warmth that finds its way
To banish cold and doubt away.

Two men, a quiet world within the frame
Of window panes that frost their name.
One hand rests on a lover's hip,
The other traces a gentle lip.
They are a haven, safe and true,
Where cold outside can’t pierce through.

The hearth's red heart, a steady beat,
Makes every shared moment sweet.
And as they hold each other near,
They find their winter disappears.
In this one spot, where they can be,
A lifetime of love, you and me.
