"The Truth About Me..."

Look at this AI image again, what do you see?

The younger man in this couple is 'pregnant'

As it turns out, this is a thing and somehow, the algorithms knew I'd like it. I like books and imaginative stories, but I've never been much into fantasy... My children used to hate watching certain films with me because I love to call B.S. when you have to suspend reality and the laws of nature for the plot to make sense. So I'm sure they'd think, "How are you into this, Dad?" And my answer would be, "I don't know, but I guess it feeds the "baby fever" I've had my entire life." When I first saw these images, I wanted to dismiss them as silly, but I found them so compelling that immediately I started rationalizing them by thinking science will get us there someday (perhaps possible, but unlikely).

And then I started reading the comments... People write entire backstories for these images and they're lovely, at least I think so:

“I stood with my future husband in the church, the candles flickering softly, and the colorful stained glass windows bathing the room in warm light. Even though I wore a loose shirt, I could no longer hide my pregnancy—a quiet yet joyful sign of the new life we were about to embark on together.”

"He was a bit older than me and so has a good job which will give our child financial security when he is born in 5 months.   We were hoping to have the wedding before I was showing but what with everyone's diaries it couldn't be done."

Perhaps these are the dreams of men still young...
