As the country reels from the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, make no mistake that we're in the sights of those who want to roll back the progress of civil rights in America...
It was on this day in 1986, that in Bowers v. Hardwick, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled (5–4) that states could criminalize gay sex between consenting adults; the decision was overturned by Lawrence v. Texas in 2003.
Clarence Thomas mentions Lawrence by name in his hateful concurring opinion on Roe, so be ready to fight, because ready or not, a fight is coming our way.
