Love is an immortal wound that cannot be closed up. A person loses something, a part of their soul, when they love someone. And they go about looking for that lost part of their soul, for they know that otherwise they are incomplete and cannot be at rest. It is only when they are with the person they love that they becomes complete again in themselves but the moment the other leaves, they lose that part which the other has taken with them and know no rest till they has found the other once more.
