"Reflections On Married Life..."

Our home decorated for the holidays...

Looking back on 2015, I have to admit that it was a fantastic year, the highlight of which was the adoption of our two young sons being finalized and the arrival of our first grandson...

To celebrate, we took a family trip over Christmas to Nevada, Arizona and Utah where the boys met their new big brother Marvin and his family including our new grandson Titus, born just days before Christmas...

Porch pots bedazzled and dressed in their winter coats of evergreen...

Looking down our street, even Detroit's new street lights sparkled with holiday cheer...

Up early on Christmas Morning to see what Santa had brought...

Since both Dustin and "Meechie" have expressed some musical aptitude...

Joni found his gift from Santa right away and declared it "very comfortable..."

A couple of happy kids on Christmas morning...

A happy Poppa Eddie and son Dustin...

"Meechie" doing his Lenny Kravitz pose...

After breakfast, it was off to the airport for a Christmas Day flight to sunny (but actually chilly) Las Vegas, Nevada

Thrilled about the all-you-can-eat buffets...

Then a drive up through the mountains to Provo, Utah...
My oldest son Marvin lives here with his wife and three beautiful children

Now home and enjoying some quality time with our children, I can say without hesitation, it does get better...
