Amy Kushnir, one of the hosts of KTXD’s ‘The Broadcast’ morning show in Dallas/Fort Worth, stormed off the set on Tuesday morning after a heated exchange about ESPN airing Michael Sam kissing his boyfriend.
Said Kushnir, before storming off:
When parents do not have a choice about whether or not they want their children to see this, it is wrong…I don’t call it a moment of celebration…It’s being pushed in faces. I don’t want to see that. I don’t want to see cake in your face, kissing each other.
Kushnir added:
Here’s the thing. ESPN would not have aired any of it had he been kissing his wife.
On Thursday, a video surfaced from a February taping of ‘The Broadcast,’ showing Kushnir, a “deeply loving” Christian mother and wife, thoroughly enjoying herself on the shoulders of two muscular and half-naked Chippendale strippers.
It’s shocking only because Kushnir claimed that two men kissing was offensive and was “being pushed in the faces” of Americans. For a married woman, it sure seems like she was pushing a different message as she ogled over the hunky strippers.
