"One Life to Live" Airs Daytime TV's First Gay Sex Scene

The same network that cancelled Adam Lambert's daytime performances after his same-sex kiss at the American Music Awards aired the first-ever gay sex scene on daytime TV on Wednesday.
ABC's "One Life to Live" aired an on-screen romp between Oliver (Scott Evans) and Kyle (Brett Claywell)
The scene - a candle-lit encounter in a dark bedroom that got nearly two-and-a-half minutes of screen time - was followed by the two spooning and cuddling in bed.
Expressions of affection by gay lovers on daytime TV had previously been limited to a quick kiss here and there.
The actor Scott Evans is openly gay.
