"Same Gender Loving People - No. 5879"

"Family, Another Way To Spell Love..."

Positive images of people like me... The truth of the matter is that we all need to see people like ourselves. So every day, I'll post a photo, drawing or some other artwork that depicts Same Gender Loving People as what we are... Only Human.

"The Truth About Love..."

To have loved, to have been made happy thus,
What better fate has life in store for us?

"A True Love Story..."

Our story began in NYC on June 26th 1977, Gay Pride Weekend when Sandy and I met in a private disco call 12 WEST. Dance was always a part of our story as I was a choreographer/dancer and owned a Dance and Music school called the Fournier-Grego Performance Center with my former partner, Bob. When my long time relationship with Bob ended, my relationship with Sandy became very serious. He moved into my apartment on Houston Street in the West Village and in a amicable very adult switch-a-roo, Bob moved into Sandy's apartment on Perry Street. Sandy quit his job as a lab technician and became the office manager at the school.

When I came out at 19, my first partner (or "lover" as we used say back in the day) was a dancer named Henry, who worked at the school as a Ballet instructor. And there we were, my wonderful gay family all working together and being the best of friends watching over each other. During the AIDS pandemic, Henry passed away. After Bob and I decided to close our Performance Center, Bob became infected. Sandy and I became his caregivers for a year until he made his transition. It wasn't long after when Sandy and I moved to Fort Lauderdale.

When same sex marriage finally became legalized, we immediately went to City Hall and happily put a ring on it! (Shameless plug alert:) There's much more to our story and you can read much more about it in a novel I wrote called "And We Danced"! published on Amazon!
