I remember seeing this as a young twenty something and being shocked and quite taken aback... But then when I got over the surprise of what I was seeing, I was quite jealous of young Matthew being romanced by Brian Kerwin. It would be another 16 years and a failed marriage before I fully accepted that what I'd seen here was the truth of my own heart's desires.
Same here for me as after 22 years of married to a woman, I could divorce and live my real gay life. It wasn't easy but after all it was worthed. Now for me as a older man, I like more younger men and maybe because after teaching for 37 years, I'm more attracted to younger ones because they are not stuck ups and are more open minded too.
