"Reflections On Married Life..."

These are a few views of  our home in the splendor of fall's arrival.  Our fall plantings are done and the boys are anxiously awaiting Halloween at the end of the month

It's autumn at the Cummings-Flournoy home...

Our sons, Meechie (D'Mitris) and Dustin are doing well in school and I've been asked to join the board of directors of their charter school.

Dustin has completed phase one of his orthodontic treatment and had his appliances and braces removed this week... One of his deciduous molars came out with the expander appliance and the next day he lost another tooth, so although he's got a buck-toothed smile now, he's free to eat all the sticky candy he wants come Halloween.

Meechie is becoming the athlete of the family. He is on the school's cross-country team and we've had the joy of cheering him on at his meets. He also finished driving school and has a category 1 license and has been practicing driving to and from school.

Titus

My eldest son, Marvin and his family are also doing well... Our newest grandchild, Titus is now 10 months old and getting ready to walk,

Edward and I are both doing well.  Ed's recovery from heart surgery this spring has gone well.  And although there's some uncertainty about the company I work for, our family finances are in good order and I may be preparing for yet another change of career soon... Nevertheless, we're all happily  looking forward to home life and the holidays...

It does get better...
