"The Imitation Of Life..."

As I reflected on the victories of yesterday, I thought about the many milestones we've passed on the journey to freedom, justice and equality.  I remembered the reactions of people to Ang Lee's "Brokeback Mountain."  I don't know if the film drove the changes in people's opinions or whether it was merely a timely reflection of a paradymn shift already underway.  But this much I do know, it had a profound effect on me and helped me choose to seek out a life of truth and it gave me a hope for the happiness that Ennis and Jack never fully realized.
