"This Is Love At Christmas..."

Congratulations to Good Morning America television personality, Sam Champion and his fiance, artist, Rubem Rubierb who were wed earlier this week at their New York City home in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends.  The couple will also be having another wedding in Miami, Rubem’s hometown, on New Year’s Eve.

New York State Supreme Court Justice George J. Silver officiated.

The famous couple made news earlier this year when Sam came out by mentioning his upcoming wedding to Rubem while they were attending the marriage of MSNBC anchor Thomas Roberts.

Along with family and other friends, Sam's good friend and fellow on-air personality, Robin Roberts was in attendance and recited a poem for the couple during the ceremony.  Robin has been on a medical leave since September as she undergoes treatment for a rare blood and bone marrow disorder.
